Nice location

A weekend trip to Malmö. A nice base with super location on the square, close to the city center and the station. Nice and clean. Old style. Good breakfast and nice quick check in and out. The bar closed too soon!

Upgraded dusty room and dissapointing upcharged breakfast

I have stayed in this hotel multiple times before and thought it is a nice hotel with comfy and nice rooms but the staff has not been anything special. This time, the staff was super friendly and nice and they even upgraded me to a family room from a standard room which I thought was a nice touch. However, the room was dusty, there was stains on the chairs and sofa, the drain did not work properly in the shower and it got super cold in the room during nights thanks to the un-adjustable air conditioning which is only a vent up on the wall of the room. The bed was supercomfy and extra points for Kramer on setting up the curtains so that the whole room goes dark without leaving spots in between curtains. The breakfast is upcharged nowadays but the quality of the breakfast has dropped a lot. Egg scramble was dipped into water, no porridge unfortunately and fruit platters were empty around 8am. Not something I would recommend paying for.

Could be much, much better - Centrally located - Invest and it has potential

Room was so dark - unreal. - very poor lighting. No safe. No phone. Poor soft beds. Torn carpets on the stairs. Scaffolding outside our window for builders. Aksed for additional light - none availale. Very pleasant receptionists. Very good location. Near Central Station. Has potential but best to come back after they invest in lighting and basic services and facilities.

Unfortunately

First got the wrong room, TV worked poorly. Breakfast was abundant firm scrambled eggs, baked beans and sausages cold. I haven't tried anything else. Room small., worn and cold. Could not change for centrally controlled. Stayed 4 nights. Location very good.
