Great hotel
All recommendations for this hotel! Everything is as in the description. Excellent location, close to the public transport station, but you can get to the center quickly and easily by walking. The room is beautiful, spacious, warm, clean. Good wifi quality. Breakfast good, varied. The staff is more than helpful, friendly and always available for anything you need.

Exceptional Service Beyond Expectations
I had a wonderful stay at Spar Hotel Gårda in Gothenburg, but what impressed me most happened after I had already returned home.
I accidentally left my sneakers in my room. As soon as I contacted the hotel by email (3 weeks after returning home!), the staff responded very quickly, kindly confirmed that they had found them, and even sent me several photos from different angles. They then carefully packed my sneakers and arranged to send them to Ukraine.
This level of kindness, professionalism, and genuine care for guests is truly exceptional. It is rare to meet people who are so helpful even after your stay has ended.
I have already shared this story with my friends and colleagues, and everyone was amazed by the outstanding service and the warm attitude of the hotel staff. I will gladly recommend Spar Hotel Gårda to anyone visiting Gothenburg, and I look forward to staying there again in the future.
Thank you to the entire team for your kindness, honesty, and excellent service. You turned an unfortunate situation into a wonderful memory. I wish you all good health, happiness, continued success, and many grateful guests!

Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing.
The rooms did not match the impression given by the photos. Upon entering, the room had an unpleasant smell, which was not a good start to our stay.
At check in, we were asked to provide details for all family members. When I mentioned that we had never been required to do this before, the staff member responded rather dismissively and stated that there were new rules requiring information for all guests. After further discussion, she then said that this only applied to foreign guests. When I explained that we live in Sweden, she changed her position and said the additional guest information was no longer necessary. This interaction was confusing and felt unprofessional.
We are a family of four and were assigned a room next to a group of school football players. Throughout the evening and late into the night, there was constant noise from running in the corridors, shouting, and repeated door slamming. As a result, we were unable to get a proper night’s sleep.
Overall, this was a very poor experience, and unfortunately we cannot recommend this hotel based on our stay.

Dusty
Rooms are dusty
Room is generally okay but so covered in dust it was awful. Couldn’t sleep as got so choked by dust. I told receptionist and asked for my room to be cleaned and specifically said it was really dusty but it was not sorted. They came and “cleaned” the room they didn’t dust or change the sheets.

Experience at The Hotel
The hotel is very clean. The rooms are amazing and The neda Are very big. Location is close to The center and The atmosphere is positive. The breakfast is very tasty.
