Situation

Fantastic location down in the harbor of Borgholm
Ended up in room 427, simple but good with space in the room with lovely view of the harbor, no balcony.,but the view compensated for that. The hairdryer only had one location, & so into the bomb's hot. The breakfast I thought was generous and their restaurant served beautifully laid out food that was fantastic. Tested their large pool which was very nice, we also had incredibly nice weather on our stay & the hotel has a very lovely terrace to enjoy nice evenings on.

Tastes so it costs...

…it’ll have to be the summary of Strand in Borgholm. The room was ok and the hotel is right on the waterfront. Our room was simply furnished, of course with shower and toilet but no fridge, kettle or similar facilities as better hotels usually have. 2200 kr. is a juicy price we think but the breakfast was good and with a little positive approach you can say that we had sea views, but then you have to stand against a wall by the window.

Great Staff.

Worn but clean. A little excessive price. Important to know is that a suite here is a standard *superior *room at regular hotel. So a standard room here is worn. But otherwise lovely hotel with cozy surroundings. Restaurant, patio, pool bar etc.
The staff is incredibly helpful and accommodating. We were there 21-22/8 and the room was not what we intended but it solved the person at the reception. The right person in the right place. Super Nice
Breakfast 5 out of 5.

You get value for money at Strand hotell.

Good hotel on many sweets. You get value for money. Lovely that all rooms have a balcony which gives an extra nice holiday feeling in the summer. Good nice mingling on the outdoor bar/terrace to sit at sunset. Good nice restaurants nearby, best location in hotel in Borgholm. You walk straight down to the harbor- where you are Strand hotell just to book!

Nice atmosphere at the harbor – but details reduce the overall impression

Stayed one night at Strand Hotell in Borgholm (14–15 July) and enjoyed the stay. Fresh room, easy parking with electric car charging and a nice dinner on the outdoor terrace. Nice location by the harbor.
However, the AC was missing in the room, which made it very warm, and the decor is starting to feel somewhat dated – the hotel would benefit from a revamp. Two shirts that were left behind could not be traced despite contact with the front desk just an hour after check-out.
Ok hotel near the guest harbour, but a few details pull down the rating.
