You can take a walk and explore the neighbourhood area of the hotel — Silk Street Market, Chaoyang Theater and Temple of Heaven.At the hotel Spend an evening in a nice atmosphere of the bar. You can stop by the restaurant. If you travel by car, you can park in a parking zone. Guests who love doing sports will be able to enjoy a gym. For business meetings, there is a conference hall. Accessible for guests with disabilities: the elevator helps them to go to the highest floors. Additional services that the hotel offers to its guests: a laundry, dry cleaning, ironing and a concierge.

Convenient restaurants. Family Suite available.

Family Suite （ 套房） has 1 QUEEN BED and 2 Single Beds!!!! I highly recommend this hotel especially if you’re traveling with family. I literally looked through more than 50 hotels in Beijing. I was looking for a hotel that could accommodate two adults and two kids. Most hotels in China don’t have two king or two queen beds in one room. Originally we were considering the Kerry Hotel; however, their family room were sold out. We were glad we chose Scitech Hotel. I was so concerned after reading the bad reviews on Tripadvisor. However, after arriving, we were so impressed by the grand lobby and the wonderful Customer Service. My husband and I and two children (7 and 9 years old ) stayed in their Ultraman themed room. Let me summarize all the pros of this hotel what we liked.
1. Restaurants and convenience store right outside the hotel super convenient. We walked out of the hotel turn left. There were restaurants within 30 seconds of walking distance. Local restaurants. Not tourist traps. This is a huge bonus.
2. Family room had one queen bed and two single beds able to accommodate larger families.
3. Themed family room is a huge hit with my kids. They were laughing hysterically and we were having so much fun. They had kids toothbrushes for us kids slippers, kids bathrobes kids tent, and Ultraman decorations.
4. Price is so good. The price is very competitive and cheaper than many of the more famous hotels. I would rather stay here and just get a taxi to go everywher.
5. Originally I was looking for a hotel close to the train station. I don’t know how far the train station is. However, after arriving in China, we just took a taxi to go everywhere by downloading the local Didi App. Taxi is super cheap here.
6. Beds are so comfortable in this hotel. We also stayed in another hotel. The beds at Scitech hotel are way more comfortable. Most hotels have very firm beds in China. Many don’t even have any cushion. The mattresses here are indeed the firm. However, they do feel soft on the top like a pillow top feeling. So the beds are comfortable for me.
7. Great Customer Service: Upon arrival. My husband and I both had trouble with Alipay , and WeChat pay and our VISA credit cards weren’t working. I was very stressed out and was not giving the front desk receptionist a good attitude. However, the entire time the front desk receptionists responded with kindness and patience, allowing us to try over and over again.
Overall Highly recommend.

Old Hotel in Beijing

One of the old hotels in Beijing near Jianguomen station that connects to Guomao, Wangfujing and Tiananmen stations. Room is basic and decent with toilet amenities. Front desk staff can speak a limited English but they are accommodating. Breakfast is mostly local Chinese cuisine. Good hotel if you’re looking for an affordable accommodation near CBD area.

Good Stay Overall, but Language Barrier Could Be Improved

We stayed here as part of a tour in Beijing arranged by our travel agent. We arrived quite late at around 3am, but we were able to rest well after checking in. The room was clean and comfortable.
The breakfast selection was quite basic and mainly local cuisine, but luckily they offered good coffee options.
Overall, the food was decent, and the room had all the basic amenities we needed. The staff were generally friendly, although their English proficiency was limited. I would suggest that management provide basic English training for front-line staff to improve communication with international guests.

Traditional hotel, convenient transportation

The hotel is conveniently located and can be reached in 10-15 minutes by metro station. There are plenty of food nearby, very convenient. The hotel is traditionally decorated and the facilities are not old-fashioned. Staff friendly and polite. Breakfast is more common.

Good location but not recommended

We stayed in the hotel for a few nights with two rooms. The cleanliness of rooms were shocking. The carpets are full of stains and dusts. There are hand and forehead prints on the window. There were also stains all over the wallpapers. The bathrooms still used shower curtains which were not super clean. The room and towels smell like an ashtray. There were hairs from previous guests. One of rooms were checked in more than two hours late. We would also smell smoking other guest rooms and would travel to our room through the ventilation system. The breakfast selections were mostly the same for the whole time. It wasn’t the greatest experience for a long stay. The location was good and there were restaurants nearby. However, we would not recommend this hotel and would not consider staying again.
