Konum:

Little gem by the river

We stayed here because of the storms in the area, and were very impressed. Hotel was spacious, new, smelled great, and Nate at the front desk was great. Very friendly and knowledgeable. The room was huge and ac worked great.

Quiet room in a beautiful hotel along the river. Off the beaten path but easy access to a river walkway. Near a coffee shop and restaurant.

Great Staff, Views, and Vibe.

We recently had a 4 night stay at the Appleton Marriott Courtyard Riverfront. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience to stay there. The location was great, with rooms overlooking the river. (Ask for a top floor, river view room with balcony!). Rooms are spacious and beds very comfy. Our room was exceptionally quiet and had excellent light blackout at night. Our room was a bit quirky as it had a lot of space, but was a bit lacking of furniture. The bed faced the slider doors to the balcony, which meant the bedside table were very crowded. There was a half moon shaped loveseat with ottoman, but other than that, 1/3 of the room was just empty. We definitely would have liked more seating, and most of all, more drawers! There were only 2 drawers in our room, not counting a tiny bedside drawer on one side of the bed. There was no storage in the bathroom either as there were no shelves under the vanity. The bathroom had no exhaust fan, and could easily become steamy. The shower had a glass door that covered one-half of the shower. While a modern look, this did not function as well as I would have liked, and the bath mat outside the shower became a tad wet when the shower was turned on. The room and bathroom were very clean and in great condition. I liked that there was central air in the room and no noisy window heating unit. The lobby was particularly great with numerous modern work and lounge spaces. There was a very nice bistro that opened for breakfast and a light dinner. It also served as a bar. The woman who worked at the bar/bistro in the evenings was absolutely fabulous. She was so friendly, and kind. We made a point to stop and get a drink each evening just to have an opportunity to interact with her. Food in the bistro was delicious, although we only ate dinner there one night. Outside was a huge gas fire pit and we enjoyed drinks there each night. Adjacent to the hotel is a nice paved greenway trail along the river. We enjoyed walking along that several times. Our experience with the hotel staff was A +. They were very accommodating of all our requests and friendly. This makes a hotel stay memorable, and will cause us to return.

What a pleasure it was to read your thoughtful review, teachertype22. We are so happy you enjoyed your stay at Courtyard Appleton Riverfront and appreciated both the river views and the inviting lobby spaces. Your recognition of our team members, especially the evening bistro host, means so much to us and we will make sure she hears how much of a positive impact she had on your visit.
Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback about your guest room and bathroom. While we're glad your room was peaceful and the cleanliness stood out, your observations on furniture layout and storage options are very helpful. Our team will absolutely keep these insights in mind as we look for ways to enhance the comfort and function of our guest rooms.
It’s wonderful to know you enjoyed evenings by the riverfront fire pit and walks along the greenway trail. We hope to welcome you back for another memorable stay whenever your travels bring you to Appleton!
