Great Stay, Would Recommend
Lots of good bars, restaurants and clubs nearby. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Cologne.

Poor Hostel
The local area is rough. The rooms are above McDonald’s, which is good for quick food; however, it’s not so fun at 3 a.m. Sunday morning when you’re trying to sleep. Litter and sick were all around the hostel entrance.
The rooms were average. Bunk beds were loud and uncomfortable. The rooms were incredibly hot; however, there is a tram route right outside on the main road, so good luck if you want any sleep.
Showers were okay for males, five or so showers, but only two had doors. The shower facilities were not great, and each one I tried was leaking and lacked pressure.
Shared toilets were kept clean and stocked; however, there were only two cubicles for males, which isn’t enough.
I didn’t see anybody who worked there (apart from cleaners) as reception was unmanned.

Didn't really see any actual hostel staff my whole stay. One nice volunteer gave me my key and that was that.
Room was fine. Beds have their own plug sockets and privacy curtains which is nice. But the place is in need of some TLC.

Good stay...
Wifi signal was not great in the room, had to go near the lobby to use wifi. The lady staff was nice & friendly but one of the guy was bit rude.
Overall it was a good stay.

An OK hostel……
One of the male staff was rude & unfriendly, but rest of the staff’s were good.
There were not sufficient utensils in the kitchen & there were no one to refill when the breakfast items were finished.
Wifi is poor & it works well only near the lobby.
Overall an average place.
