Last-minute cancellation, no customer service, and no attempt to help—thankfully I found a much bett

Absolutely terrible customer service. Less than 24 hours before my arrival, they sent me a short Booking.com message saying they no longer had a room for me because of a "technical error." That was it.
They didn't even have the decency to call me or make any effort to help me find another hotel after canceling my reservation at the last minute. Leaving a guest stranded with less than a day's notice is completely unacceptable.
In the end, they probably did me a favor. My friends stayed there and said it was the worst hotel and breakfast they have ever had. I ended up staying at Nordfjordeid Hotel instead, where I was treated much better and enjoyed an excellent full breakfast buffet.
Avoid this hotel if you expect basic customer service or for them to honor your reservation.

Hotel with its own rules.

DO NOT RESERVE ROOMS IN THIS HOTEL.
This is because when you get there, you can risk that the room is deleted.
This happened to me, booked a room, travelled from Østfold to be with the family, then the room was deleted because it was summer time according to him. Something that didn't stand.
He was told I was late. Still, he chose to delete the room at 19.
He makes his own rules.

Useless booking

Canceled the stay before we even got there. The operation of the hotel seems very unserious. Having booked inside since January, when this was cancelled by the hotel for no reason. Booked once more, was confirmed, but then received a message to cancel the stay yourself? The response from the hotel was that we were on the waiting list for rooms. We were then asked to pay room to be sure to keep our order. This is becoming too serious and insecure for us.

We came to closed doors and called a number on the door and were forwarded to two other hotels where we finally got a shabby room. Poor.
