Terrible operation and organization

Do not trust Scandic Hamar - they do not understand what is the "reservation" concept. You must not only accept the reservation, but you must also keep the reservation. Booked through Hotels.com but when I got there after a long trip, tired and hungry, on check-in day that 10PM / 22 July 2026 - the girl in the counter said "sorry we are overbooked", but we booked you another hotel in the centre of Hamar which turned out to be much lower standard with noise from the street etc.

Clean rooms, delicious breakfast.
Minus - parking and lack of information about its payment (there was no information that payment in the underground parking lot must be made in advance). I found it out in time and paid, but other guests were fined in the morning.

Room was spacious and clean . Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good . Lovely hotel and lots of space to read a book. Internet good. It was close to city centre and train station.
