Helpful staff!!!
Administrator Ugnė made our day!!! Not only did she gave all the info and helped us with the booking, she also did an extra mile with tips and tricks! Kudos, Ugnė!

Room good, restaurant lousy!
The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. There was also extra fan when it was hot and an open window let in sound from E18. Sad though for an allergy sufferer with the heavily perfumed soap that seems standard at Scandic and could not be replaced.
I was going to eat in the restaurant in the evening but the staff was overtired and understaffed so our and several others orders were forgotten and we left hungry after 45 minutes (it was then closer to 8 pm!) without any of the staff having had contact with us! That is totally unacceptable!
It was also really dirty in one of the stairwells with carpeted floors and a bit chaos at breakfast. Is otherwise always happy with Scandic and hope this was a one-time experience.

For warm room
Unfortunately a very warm room, without air conditioning and only with a small window to ventilate with so the room was just as warm when we arrived in the afternoon and in the middle of the night. It wasn't too hot outside.
Note that the double bed is 2 single beds put together. Not a problem for us, but maybe if you are thinking about having a 2-year-old in bed with you.
Nice people at the reception and near Lost City badeland. An ok stop on the road if you like it hot

Vi har precis innan sommaren installerat s. k komfortkyla, inte att förväxla med AC som man är van vid i utlandet, denna ska se till att rummet håller en lägre tempertur än utomhus. Under de riktigt varma dagarna kan de upplevas varmt ändå. Vi försöker avhjälpa detta så gott det går genom att dra för mörkläggningsgardinerna, erbjuda fläktar på rummen, både bord- och golvvariant (fråga i receptionen). Vi hoppas ändå att vistelsen i sin helhet blev bra och att besöket på Lost City var skoj.

Small room, super warm inside the room. Great service and good breakfast!
We didn't get much sleep because of the heat in the room. During be 2 night stay.

Sleeping in a sauna?
Nice staff, plenty of electric car parking and good food in the restaurant.
No air conditioning anywhere. Measured 30 degrees inside the room when we were going to sleep. Very warm in common areas as well.
By 2026, hotels must invest in air conditioning. We're not going back here this summer until this is done.
