Disappointing junior suite stay

We had booked the junior suite for one night for a family of 4. On arrival we noticed only the main bedroom had been cleaned, the second bedroom and bathroom had been left untouched after the previous guest. There were trash in the trashcans, dirty glasses and towels, used sheets on the bed, chunks of hair on the bathroom floor etc. We contacted the reception and they sent over a very nice cleaner who was very apologetic and quickly cleaned the room to our satisfaction. He told us we would receive a compensation upon check-out the following day. The compensation we were given were gift vouchers for Scandic restaurants in Sweden, which we had no use for as we were returning home to Finland the same day. So all in all, we were a little disappointed in our experience in this hotel. The breakfast buffet and the jacuzzi in the room were nice.

All right.

Polite location on the highway.
Good beds and ok breakfast. Was there 3 nights and asked to have the room cleaned every day. They said they'd do it, but never came. A lot of garbage that accumulated, especially since mc donalds was just next door and there was a lot of take away from there during our stay.

Bad Value

We were traveling through Scadinavia during the last three weeks, staying at Scandic Hotels in most cities.
This hotel was by far the most expensive one with the least value.
When we showed up for breakfast, most of the tables were not cleaned, although enough personell was present. It was obvious that they were busy checking their private phones rather than carrying for their guests.
Same picture for the room service. Looks like they were busy checking their cell phones, while resting in guest rooms, thus missing details and amenities in the room, we had no coffee in the room.
It was our observation during one night stay.
Looking at the value, we would not recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel with great location

Now it was a few years ago but finally I had a trip to Luleå and then I chose Scandic. I like the simplicity when you come by car and can park directly outside the hotel.
Hotel is very nice and fresh, breakfast buffet is magical.
Thank you for this time I think I'll see you again soon.
