Little pearl on Camino

A hotel on country side in the Camino, beautiful room, very tasty local food and great hosts. We’re treated like king and queen

Beautiful old world charm

A breath of fresh air on the Road

Rectoral de Lestedo was a fresh air break on the Camino.
With a strategic location, you do not need to deviate from your route as the accommodation is right there, on the Camino De Santiago.
We were greeted by Julia and Luis, a lovely couple who helped us in everything.
We were traveling with our 2-year-old and Julia had nothing but attentions and affection with her.
The rooms were spacious and well appointed, overlooking a back garden that brought freshness.
The accommodation itself is beautiful.
They have a terrace for a drink before dinner, which we enjoyed. Pepo, the dog they have, we already feel like ours, how affectionate he was. Emma keeps naming him.
Dinner was spectacular and breakfast the next day too. They cook delicious.
A place to disconnect, I would surely return even if I did not do the Camino, just to rest.

A gem on the Camino. The perfect place to stay if you like exceptional service in beautiful surroundings.

Of the 700+ km on the Camino (we stayed at many, many nice establishments) - Rectoral de Lestedo is on the top of our list as the best place we stayed. From the minute we arrived - we were welcomed and treated like we were the only guests there. They made us able to relax immediately in their courtyard where we enjoyed a lovely drink and snacks. Dinner was excellent as well. Superb! The room was peaceful and enchanting with natural surroundings and lovely bedding. To say the service was over-the-top is an understatement. As we left, the owner escorted us out personally and insisted we take a picture he staged perfectly as a souvenir for our lovely stay. We can’t recommend this establishment enough. What a gem!

Wonderful stay at Palas de Rei!

Rectoral de Lestedo was one of the highlights of our Camino de Santiago journey. It’s a cute, clean, and peaceful little place surrounded by beautiful countryside — the perfect spot to rest and recharge. Humberto, the owner, and his amazing staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and truly welcome. They served a delicious dinner and an equally wonderful breakfast the next morning. Our stay was absolutely wonderful, and this place will remain a 5-star favorite in my book forever. I’d recommend it to all my friends walking the Camino — you won’t regret staying here!
