Bad Samaratin

We were unlucky enough to have a burst tyre at 5.30 am and managed to limp off the road across the entrance to this B&B. We discovered that we did not have a jack so at 6.30 we rang the bell for some help, there was no telephone number on the sign and we had no internet reception to find one.My wife was berated for having disturbed them and their guests.At 7.30 we were told we were blocking the entrance and the police would be called, nobody was needing to exit.We still had no tyre and there was no other place to park off the road.There was plenty of parking on the property but this was not offered nor were toilet facilities. At the same time a recovery truck arrived, he could not believe what he was hearing. Circumstances like this reveal the true characters behind the smiles to paying guests!

Un accueil exceptionnel

Les chambres (chambre Rivière). Une décoration soignée et de goût, une literie très confortable avec un choix d’oreillers au moelleux différents, une salle de bain vaste, du linge de toilette de qualité. Une propreté irréprochable.
Les hôtes : bienveillance et aux petits soins pour leurs clients tout en discrétion.
Le cadre : exceptionnel avec un vaste parc aux allures sauvages mais bien domestiqué en douceur et de l'eau partout : deux étangs, une rivière (où la baignade est possible dans l'eau Claire des cuvettes calcaires), un bief qui dessert le moulin. L'eau est essentielle sur la propriété car elle apporte la fraîcheur nocturne qui assure un sommeil de qualité, même en cas de canicule.
La table d’hôtes : des produits locaux excellemment mis en valeur par la maitresse de maison. Un petit-déjeuner varié qui propose sucré (choix de confitures maison, brioches, pain, yaourts, jus de fruits fraîchement pressés, ….), et salé (jambon de pays, saucisses sèches, fromages, le tout local).
Les équipements : piscine, table de ping-pong, jeux de boules, canoë, … et j’en oublie certainement

Nous y avons séjourné en famille (2 adultes 2 enfants) pendant 4 jours. Le cadre est juste magnifique, (la rivière du vers travers le domaine) et l’ambiance y est détendu et sympa. Lionel et Nathalie font tout pour qu’on se sente bien. Le petit déjeuner est super bon et copieux. La chambre super bien équipé et très propre. Bref, c’était vraiment super. Adresse à retenir!
