A truly lovely place

Truly delightful, hospitable home in the 5th. Host, hostess and kittens were charming. Breakfast was super too. The garden is a big plus after city streets. Highly recommend.We are world travelers and we are deeply appreciative of genuine hospitality.

Disappointment

I dreamed of going to this place discovered in a book called SEJOUNER publish at Éditions du Chêne. I never publish reviews and I’m almost never wrong. But there it was a great disappointment. The cleanliness of the common areas really leave something to be desired. High sofa covered with cat hair.
A big cleaning would be welcome. The photos are not realistic, everything is outdated, the paintings, tiles, wooden floors, curtains, bed base AND to top it all off access to a closet (the only one in the room) filled with storage up to the ceiling.
The bedding is okay, the bathroom is huge and fine.
There you go, very disappointed!

Quite disappointing

For the price of a 4 star or even 5 in the provinces, the light at the entrance to the room is defective, the shower gel dispenser is empty, the bathroom turns into a swimming pool after your visit. The security is really not the best either, a staircase with moving tiles. The neighborhood is nice, that's it

An exceptional guest house

This house is an enchanted parenthesis.
Hearing birdsong in the heart of Paris, what could be more romantic.
The decoration is refined.
The hearty breakfast is served in a charming glass roof.
The hosts are absolutely fabulous.

HORRIBLE ACCOMMODATION

This was the WORST accommodation of my entire 35 adult years. It is an attic that was 'transformed'. The cupboard is not in the room. The one bed sinks in. The owner argued that the bed was new, but refused to take a look when I said the one mattress is sunken. We had to walk up 52 very unsafe SPIRAL stairs, with loose tiles as well, to get to the top where the 'room' is. There is NO GARDEN view, it is a 'roof tile' view. God forbid there should be a fire. There are no proper lights in the room, only bedlights. The chair is falling apart. The breakfast consisted of muesli and yogurt, bread and cheese. It looked like a store room, with crates full of stuff in the room and outside the room. There was a kettle, but no cups. There are cats. The owner should say this as people are ALLERGIC to cat hair. The place was dirty, and the couch in the lounge was full of cat hair. The owner walked out three times to buy supplies cause she 'forgets' what to buy and never provided the promised breakfast. She asked if we wanted eggs and then went to buy eggs. 40 Minutes later, we still have no eggs. This was also the most expensive of my accommodation, so I honestly expected better. I would completely NOT RECOMMEND and I am disgusted at this establishment and will report it as well, considering the safety and comfort during the upcoming Olympics.
