This hostel was like it was out of the boarding house that Jake and Elmore Blues lived in the blues brothers. Except I was not a charming. What was advertised was a quaint hostel perfect for couples. Yes we did have a room with a shower which is always a plus. But every aspect of this place was as if it were run for and by teenagers. WiFi cut off at 10am. You can not be in your room 11 - 3. A requirement that you have your receipt to access your room key. Limits on the time a microwave can be used.
No aminites. No services. I paid a lot less for a lot more.
Dropping into breakfast in the morning was like waiting for a meal as an immate in a fine prison. I know this is Paris. But this was a bad experience

Horrible.

Horrible I went with my college we arrived on Monday and cleaning was done that on Tuesday breakfast was filthy

To avoid for groups

I WENT WITH THE SCHOOL ON A SCHOOL TRIP AND IT WAS THE WORST PLACE!
The rooms were old, the staff not at all welcoming and friendly, we were not allowed to talk normally otherwise we were scolded! Being a group of 56 children it is normal to make noise
I would not recommend this hostel.

You literally have to pay for everything, towels, soaps, cutleries, etc because they are not included. The rooms smells bad, breakfast is decent bread and coffee.
Worst thing is you need to be out of the hotel at 11AM to 3PM for a mandatory cleaning time (as per the hostel) which is really a hassle if you get back to the hostel from a bar/drinks in which case you need to get up early and can't stay in the hotel at that time. They also have a weird rule that you need to leave the keys to the reception everytime you go out even if you are just buying something outside.

The pictures online looked nothing like the rooms in real life. Very disappointed.
