A place that stays in your heart

If I could describe in one word this hostel it would be : home. As soon as you step into the house, you feel like home. I first discovered this wonderful hostel with my friend. We were so happy to meet the kindest hosts Karina, Anna, Armen and of course the legendary white Labrador Brinkley!
If you are travelling to Armenia and want to experience Armenian hospitality and feel like home, you should absolutely, and with no doubt, stay at Hostel Glide.

Such a warm family atmosphere!

I sincerely recommend the place, it's not just a stay, but an experience in itself. Outstanding hospitality, cozy rooms, a very friendly white Labrador in the premises:-) Mount Ararat view first thing in the morning my room window! (and if your room is not on that side, then from the hostel balcony).
5 minutes walk to the subway station, 3 stops from the city center. Shops and farmers' market near the station. Hint: it's a bit problematic to find a proper exit from the subway station, but the kiosks there are numbered. The exit toward the Glide hostel is # 86, the exit to farmers' market is #96.

Homelike atmosphere, perfect location, marvellous hosts

First of all - very helpful, always smiling and informative hosts. Nothing was a problem - I checked in late after midnight, nevertheless was welcomed with a smile. I had to leave at quarter to five in the morning, so I asked to arrange transfer for me - the taxi was waiting for me at 4.45, and what´s more they were even up to chech if it was really there. Moreover they speak English very well.
Secondly - location, about 3-minute walk from the underground station (Barekamutyun) in a quiet and peaceful area.
Breakfast from 8-10 a.m., a selection of cheeses and vegetables, hard-boiled eggs, sausages, some pasta, tea or coffee.
Basic furniture in the room but you get what you need.
Good wi-fi. Wonderful view of Ararat from the terrace.
Thanks for everything. Next time I go to Armenia, I will definitle opt for this property.

Hostel Glide, Feels Like Home!

This was my first visit to Armenia and it is indeed more than a country! It has a lot to offer, from tourist attractions, history to its very hospitable people. Hostel Glide is the best place to stay if you will visit Armenia. Breakfast is super nice, personally prepared by Ana and her mother Karina with love. Rooms are spacious and clean. Mountain view from the Terrace is relaxing. They offer the best coffee which you can request anytime of the day. The strawberry and Apricot jam prepared by Karina is superb. The hostel is near to the metro which is important when traveling around. The neighborhood is really nice and a lot of shops nearby where you can go to eat. loving and approachable hostel owner. They are always up for a good chat and they will give you a lot of tips about anything you need during your stay. Transportation, food, tourist attractions, directions, name it and they will help you about it. I will definitely choose the same hostel when I come back. Oh! And they have the sweetest dog I have ever met, Bringley, very hospitable too! Thank to Ana and Karina for making my stay feels like home. I hope to see you soon again.

Exceeded all my expectations.

It is my very first try on being a nomad and I must say I am a bit anxious about choosing Armenia as my first stop. I am not a luxurious fellow so I tried searching online for a good place to stay in. After some time, I stumbled upon this GEM. I was thinking I couldn't trust the description because it's so affordable to think I booked for a private room. I then make a call from Dubai to make sure that my booking was done or maybe I was just making sure that everything is well. The host, Anna, picked up the call and was so informative and helpful. She even arranged an airport pick-up for such a low price.
Upon arrival, the room was cleaned, the whole hostel was excellent. They speak good english as well and they're ready to assist you with everything.
Superb breakfast and very accommodating fellas.
Totally more than I bargained for.
Kudos to the team!
Looking forward for my next trip here already.
