Not so grand....would NOT recommend

Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place. Booked the Business Suite to see if it would be better than what people were talking about. At check-in we had to wait until it was ready. We waited about 20-30 mins. Elevator needs maintenance - makes irregular noises. Hallways have mold/water damage. Not a lot of people around for how big the place seems.
Got to our room and there's a big whiff of an air freshener that someone must have just sprayed to prepare our room. Floor was dirty like it never/barely was moped. Carpet had stains. Curtains broken. Mirror cracked. Lights didn't work at the desk area and in the shower. One light worked in the bathroom and it was a warm white light, so it felt dim. A maintenance man came to change the one bathroom light from warm white to cool white, so it helped a little, but there was still one light. The only towels in the room were two bath towels (one with hair) and one floor towel (dirty looking). No hand towels. There was only 1 outlet in the sitting area - for the floor lamp next to the sofa. If you want to use the floor lamp and charge something, best bring an extension cable/outlet. We moved the sofa to check if there was an extra outlet and the leg of the couch collapsed. Two outlets in the kitchenette area - 1 for the kettle and 1 for the microwave that was not there. There was a small fridge. No wifi in the room, only in the lobby but free. Overall, the Business Suite was not worth the price. Out of all the rooms available just on our floor, we didn't get a view of Cyclops Mountain. We had a view of the other side and the top of one of their other buildings that was not in good condition.
Pool had green algae in it. Pool chairs in poor condition. The gym equipment was outside and in poor or non-working condition. Breakfast was ok, but could be better. Food was in warming pans but the pans were not warm. Staff were friendly but to the point. At check-out, they didn't ask how our stay was.
I tried out this hotel to see if it would be good for out-of-town guests, but I found myself questioning what was really clean and overall, not feeling relaxed in my room. Nothing looks like the pictures posted anywhere anymore, other than the pictures posted by guests. I would NOT recommend any guests to stay here. This hotel needs a lot of maintenance, training, and an overall plan for this place to be in order. It probably was grand when it was open, but not anymore :(

Unfortunately, the hotel has not been upkept since it was built. Only 1 out of 3 elevators still works. The rooms were covered in stains and cigarette burns. All rooms are smoking rooms, don't let Expedia tell you differently. It is not possible to have a room without the palpable 3rd hand cigarette smoke, and people continue to smoke in rooms with the smell wafting through the vents. Only 1 towel, water, slippers provided per room despite booking as a party of 2. There were obvious hairs and piles of dust on the surfaces of the room, and piles of trash in the stairwell and around the back corner from the room.
I would not stay here again.

Room was not very clean, drapes didn’t slide, WiFi didn’t work, so had to borrow hot spot from manager. Checked out for one day, checked back in a day later. Same room and sheet were not changed. I could tell because there was a stain near the pillow. Limited options in Santana.

Not a place to go

WIFI free. Dirty room. The items of the toilet are broken. Breakfast really poor. Elevator not in the best conditions. The gym is outdoor and fsr away to the pictures of the web. The staff is nice.
Looks like a place that had a great past but was avandoned years ago.
