Clean, modern, central... highly recommended!

I had a pleasant experience with the staff there. They were all very helpful and friendly. The dorm I stayed in was spacious. I had a bed in the loft. Thankfully I am only 155cm and can just stand, but if you are taller, you will find it very annoying. You get a big locker to store your stuff. The bathrooms are clean and have hot water. Maybe they get rid of the "no shower after check out" rule as it adds to the overall positive experience if you give your guests access to facilities even after they check out as not everyone leaves town in the morning. Kitchen is well-equipped but cold do with a kettle. Laundry is really cheap and fast. Great value for money. I walked in at 8am and they let me in the dorm. I actually first went to another hostel and they were going to charge me for luggage storage before check in. I had a more positive experience here and highly recommend it to anyone.

Quite nice place but incompetent staff

I was pretty happy with the place overall, but twelve hours after I’d checked out and was just about to get a night bus, the receptionist suddenly decided that I’d been undercharged, although I don’t think I had been, and rudely insisted on my paying some more on a very spurious basis. Even if accurate, they should have absorbed the difference at that stage or at least been polite. I’d been coming and going all day so they’d had plenty of chance to raise it before.

Overall good experience

Well located, near the centre, supermarket and shops. Spacious comfortable dorm rooms with good size lockers. Hot shower but there was only one functioning when we stayed. Clean bathrooms. Kitchen OK, there was no kettle so if you want hot water it has to be boiled in a large pot. Excellent wifi. One computer for guests. Mostly friendly staff, they are volunteers so depends who you get. Netflix very good.

Nice place to stay

Very nice, clean and modern hostel.
Very well located in Cuenca.
Stayed there for a few days and had a great time. Staff was very friendly and the hostel has everything you need. Will definitely go back there!

Good experience

A very clean, modern and comfortable hostel right in the centre of town. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The only qualm was that it was slightly cold inside! But otherwise, I strongly recommend this hostel.
