Beijing Business Trip
We are very satisfied with this stay. The hotel has an excellent location, close to the subway and shopping malls, which makes outings very convenient. The room is very clean, and we had a good rest. Winnie at the front desk was friendly. Overall, it is good value for money, and we will choose this hotel again

Small rooms poor English
Location is very good, close to things and close by basics shops and restaurants, nothing great but essentials. Our room is super small for 3, bathroom was clean but carpet was not. They did not accommodate Hilton status upgrades. The entire hotel is very cramped, the pool is not inviting, full of kids swimming lessons, don’t be deceived by images. Gym is not open 24 hours, need to wait until 6:00 AM. Breakfast was just ok, lots of variety as you would expect in China, but quality was lower than other properties. It is a tough stay for 3 Americans. The staff ability to speak English was limited, so it was difficult to check in and long process. Not recommended.

Great stay and amazing breakfast
We recently completed a 9-night stay at this hotel, and as a family that travels frequently, I can confidently say this is one of the best DoubleTree we have ever stayed at anywhere in the world.
The location is outstanding, just a 2-minute walk to the subway station, with a shopping mall full of restaurants and shops directly connected to the hotel. It made getting around Beijing incredibly convenient.
What impressed us the most was the breakfast experience. Our children genuinely looked forward to the breakfast buffet every morning because of the large variety of options. Everything was consistently fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared throughout our stay.
I would especially like to recognize Mr. Zhang Yu (张禹) for making our stay truly memorable. Every morning he took the time to check on our family, ask how everything was going, and ensure we had the best possible dining experience. His warm hospitality and attention to detail made us feel genuinely valued as guests.
We would also like to thank Ms. Li at the Jianbing Guozi station. She was always kind and welcoming to our children, and they loved seeing her each morning.
Another highlight was the Executive Lounge on the 21st floor. The quality of the food and beverages—including alcoholic drinks during the evening happy hour—was exceptional. The offerings were substantial enough that many evenings felt like a full dinner, allowing us to relax in our room afterward instead of going out for another meal.
Experiences like this remind me why maintaining Hilton Diamond status is worthwhile. The outstanding service, excellent dining, and thoughtful recognition of loyal members made our stay truly special.

Excellent Service
This review is made on behalf of Mr. Tan T.K.
Stayed here a few times while in transit. The property has completed its renovation, and the rooms are now in better condition.
I was pleasantly met with Mr. Elijah Wong at the Executive Lounge. He has such a remarkable memory that he recognised me from afar. He is blessed with a pleasant countenance and extends warm and friendly gestures not only to me, but also to other guests who arrive at the check-in desk.
He handled the registration process professionally and remained calm and composed even though guests were streaming in.
He also provided very patient assistance in helping me check on the issues I encountered with the Railway 12306 App. When the problem remained unresolved, he sought clarification through the app's support channels to explore what else could be done. I truly appreciate Elijah's willingness to go the extra mile to help guests when they need it most, especially when the stress of changing transportation arrangements is involved.
This is certainly beyond the scope of his duties, and I would like to compliment him on his outstanding concierge-like qualities, in addition to his excellent work as a member of the Executive Lounge team.
Keep it up, Elijah, as you continue to bring warmth to Honors members who have the privilege of meeting you at the Executive Lounge and experiencing your service excellence.

Dated room and Diamond Status not recognized
I’m both Hilton Diamond and Marriott Titanium. This time I tried to do a comparison between Beijing Lize Sheraton and Beijing DoubleTree since both are rated about the same, the prices are the same, and both are in the west side so I can decide which one to stay going forward when I visit this area again. After i checked in, I was surprised that the hotel doesn’t recognize my Diamond status and no suite upgrade even suites are still available to book. When I stayed at higher end hotels like Waldorf, Conrad, and hiltons, I was always upgraded to a suite due to my Diamond status. The room at DoubleTree is also kind of dated and smaller comparing to the Sheraton. The same can be said for the executive lounge. Later I’ll more about their breakfast and executive lounge food. I’ll add my findings later.
