The place was so nice and our host was very nice as well. I did, however would have like more access to cold water or ice and the supplied shampoo/conditioner combo wasn’t good for my hair. But the breakfast was delish and bed was comfy.

Friendly hosts, excellent location, and a cozy room. We felt very welcome and at home. The ventilation in the bedroom and the pillows needed improvement, but these were minor issues. Overall, an excellent place to stay!

The lady that was running the place was great probably would come back just for her. The property needs maintenance. We had issues with some bathroom faucet and shower faucet. Also can see several lightbulbs out on the property needs more maintenance.

Pretty but uncomfortable

Beautiful b&b. Decor was very nice. Very narrow streets which you may end up parking on. Our bed sank toward the middle with 2 in it. Coming back early evening there isn’t anywhere to get ice or place a white bottle of wine in ice. Nor to store any leftover dinner just so you are aware. Breakfast is scheduled for 8:30 which is late if a person needs to get out for tours or hiking. The tub is the old fashioned claw foot you have to step over for shower, so if that is an issue, you may need to call before booking to see if other choices. There was a squirt of hand soap in bathroom and 2 squirts of shampoo in a small travel size. Shower had good temperature. Beautiful area.

So NICE! What a pleasant surprise this gem of a B&B is!

Had to come up to Seattle for my daughter's university graduation. Because it was also a World Cup match weekend, the hotels (FIFA) were gouging and hotel prices insance. I was happy to have found this property in Capitol Hill at a reasonable price since it was walking distance to my daughter's dorm. Because I normally stay in hotels in the area or the airport, I was slightly anxious that I was going to be staying at a bed and breakfast as I hadn't done so in so long. I WAS SO GLAD I STAYED AT THE CECIL BACON MANOR!!! It is such a cool property; kinda victorian and with so much character! I stayed 2 nights at the Emerald room which seemed sub-basement but since the weather was unusually scorching, the room was quite cool (no A/C bit a fan was provided- totaly fine!) The common areas (library, salon, dining, and living area) were super cool and lots of things to look at. The Emerald room itself had a living area, huge bed, claw bathtub, shower and big bathroom. Wifi was decent. The furniture was cool, bed comfy and they even had an iron and board when I asked. bathroom amenities too! The included breakfast was fun as you sat with everyone starting at 8:30am (till 9:30) and the owner brought out the same for everyone (when I was there detary restrictions were taken care of)- Coffee, juice, was also available! It was fun speaking to all the other visitors and most were in town rooting for their teams in the WC. The area is residential meaning that is was quiet, safe, with lots of bunnies running round. It's about a good 12-15 minute walk to the link station with lots of commerce around that area. I had a great night sleep; the owner/chef(son) and the mom I interacted with were super nice and chill. Yes, it is a Bed & Bekfast so don't expect a hotel front desk, or safe, (I think there was a mini fridge outside my room though) . Just imagine staying at your favorite grandparents house, walking around and seeing all the cool history and decor of the manor, having a nice interactive breakfast with really nice guests, and a safe area walking distance to shops, restaurants, supermarkets and thrift stores.
Otherwise choose a hotel LOL- I will definitely be back! Thank you Cecil Bacon Manor for a great stay!
