Mike was a friendly host and even went the extra mile to provide a gluten free breakfast goodie. The home is set in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. And the room was charming with a very comfortable bed.

There is no one on-site to assist, and we never received a “secure check-in link” as promised. No one answered or returned calls at the phone number provided. We had to find other arrangements for our stay at the last-minute, and since there’s nothing else in this area, we had to drive 30 more minutes after a full day of travel to find something. Very disappointing experience.

Its a charming old 1890's vacation home by the lake. Rooms are clean and comfortable. It is a bed and breakfast, but the breakfast could use an upgrade. Overall, if you like old homes and quiet days/nights by the lake. This is the place.

If you crave peace, this is your home away from home.
Mr. Griffin is an incredible conversationalist, and he keeps the rooms clean.
Speaking of the rooms: Prepare yourself to enjoy a level of peace and quiet that you've never experienced before.

WARNING!!!!!!! DO NOT BOOk THIS PROPERTY!!! It is False advertising! When we showed up I had to circle the block to make sure that we had the correct address. It is NOTHING like the pictures. The place is a complete dump. There is a broken down car in the driveway that has not moved in years. Trash and over grown weeds surrounding the house. There is a layer of dirt and filth on the porch at front entrance. When we arrived there was a note on the door with instructions and it said there will be coffee and muffins in the lobby for breakfast but it is advertised as a bed and breakfast. The pictures in the listing even show a full breakfast in a dining room. We decided to go upstairs and look at the room and found old worn out furniture and a mattress that looked like something from Goodwill that was put in the room around 1987. The comforter was disgustingly dirty.
We quickly left this dive and drove another hour to find a place to stay.
We believe that all off the good reviews have to be fake accounts made up by the property owner. If you read all of the bad reviews, they are 100% correct. There is no way possible that this place would get a good review!!!!
Luckily Expedia was able to get a refund for us but I would have chosen to lose the money than stay in this dump.
