Good stay for solo traveller at Veriu

Nice clean room wjth mini double.got stairs though..room.quite.small and bed is against the wall so very okay for solo travellers but I wont recommend for couples. Location is nice with easy walking to Pitt Street and the light rail but some distance from Central. Great coffee from nespresso. Housekeeping is excellent ! Cafe next door Basket Bros is good.

Great location in Sydney. Close walking distance to Museum train station. Plenty of restaurants close by.

Very bad experience

Very old hotel. Rooms tiny, dirty and without any wardrobes or appropriate hanging space for clothes.

Thank you, Jayne, for choosing to stay with us. I am truly sorry to hear about your experience. We are a heritage-listed hotel and all our rooms are unique. We do acknowledge that we have limited wardrobe space. For this, we provide guests with mobile hanging rails on request. I would recommend booking our comfy king/queen category of rooms, which are a bit more spacious.

Staff was excellent! Rooms are tiny and need some love, but for the price point they're absolutely perfect. Happy hour specials were appreciated, and the attached restaurant was delicious.

Exceptional service during an unexpected travel delay!

Due to a flight disruption, we had to arrive a day earlier than planned and ended up with two separate reservations—a Micro Queen for the first night and a Comfort Queen for the rest of our stay.
When we arrived well before the standard check-in time, the receptionist was incredibly helpful. She noticed both of our bookings and seamlessly merged them so we wouldn't have to pack up and change rooms the next day. Fortunately, the Comfort Queen room was already available, and she kindly arranged an early check-in for us.
Every member of the staff we encountered was friendly, professional, and eager to assist. They turned a stressful travel situation into a wonderful stay. We highly recommend this hotel!
You couldn't ask for a better spot in Sydney. The proximity to public transport is a massive plus—trains and buses are just minutes away, allowing you to zip across the city with ease. The dining scene right outside the hotel is spectacular, with an endless variety of restaurants and bars to choose from every night. Clean rooms, helpful staff, and a stellar location. Highly recommended!
