Great beach front studio

This lovely traditional Greek studio right on the Mryties beach was perfect and had everything we needed for our 4 night stay in Kalymnos. Stella our host was so friendly and kind we felt at home immediately. We recieved a homemade cheese cake on our first day and a gift of a glass oil jar when we left .
I dont think we would find a better place for what we paid

Great stay at Argo Studios

Perfect location right next to the beach. The apartment was very clean and had everything you need. I had a ground floor apartment which I was very happy about and enjoyed sitting on the terrace chatting to neighbours watching the sunset (very spectacular) I don't cook on holiday so didn't use the cooking facilities but made good use of fridge/kettle. Very kind and helpful hosts. Stella made a cheesecake and left a slice for me in the fridge. Unfortunately, I was unable to book for the 11 nights I stayed on Kalymnos and had to move after 6 nights. Stella and Sotiri gave me a lift to my new hotel. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again if I go back to Kalymnos.

Super studios

My second stay at Argo. I didn’t think these lovely studios could be improved however Stella and Sotiris have worked hard over the last year redecorating and investing in their property.
New kitchen cupboards and cooking facilities, fully tiled shower room, getting rid of the need for a shower curtain, stairs and terraces have smart new tiles.
The welcome was as warm as ever and it felt like I was coming home.
I think the trees in front have been trimmed because the views seemed better than ever.
The studios were fully occupied whilst I was there but still remained quiet and peaceful.
The beach in front suits me, but there are sun beds further along if you prefer. Swimming is lovely and the views to the mountains behind Myrties are great from the sea.
Excellent family run taverna and well stocked supermarket with deliveries of fresh bread and other breakfast goodies (open from 7am until late) are only a few minutes away.
Spent a lovely restful 5 days at Argo and wished it had been longer. I will certainly return next year.

Just perfect!

If I was selfish I’d keep my thoughts to myself however I’m prepared to take a risk of finding Argo fully booked in future and share with you what a lovely place this is!
I’m all about location, simple studios are fine but what really counts is a beautiful view and a lovely beach close enough to pop down for a pre breakfast swim. That’s why I chose Argo, however what I got was so much more.
Clear prompt and detailed communication from the lovely Stella was appreciated and when my arrival time changed I was able to check in at 10.30am.
The place was spotless and during these unusual times, information was provided in terms of cleaning regime and guests were given a clear understanding of what could be expected. Sanitising gel available and Stella wore PPE when carrying out her cleaning regime, it couldn’t have felt safer.
A good sized studio on the upper floor with a large furnished terrace overlooking the beach and across to Telendos. Sufficient storage, well placed electrical sockets, mirror and excellent lighting. Good, quiet air con and mozzie screens on the windows should you prefer not to use air con.
Kettle, hot plate, fridge and enough basic crockery etc to manage should you wish to do any self catering.
The most comfortable double bed I had on my island hopping trip, better than those in the two hotels I stayed at.
The shower room was small but adequate with a shower which didn’t flood the floor and an excellent supply of hot water.
Close to the water taxi quay, tavernas, supermarket and bus stop to Pothia.
Stella was generous with her time and knowledge explaining exactly where to find the bus stop to Emborios. Always interested to hear where you had been, checking out that everything was okay but never imposing. A gift of cheesecake and a little present on departure were unexpected delights.
I stayed 3 days, I wished it had been longer, I will most certainly return to enjoy this lovely part of the world and the wonderful hospitality extended by Stella.

You wouldn't find a better place to be

The welcome we got was heartwarming . Such a lovely couple. Couldn't do enough for you and made you feel like family.
Right on the beach, you couldn't ask for more.
The studio was very spacious, clean and had everything you needed. Restaurant and supermarket close by. I have loved my holiday here and wouldn't think of going anywhere else.
