Lovely safe hotel with bomb shelter

This is a lovely hotel with great food. Obviously at the moment safety is a big issue with the ongoing conflict. For those travelling (aid workers, journalists etc) I really recommend this place. There is an inner courtyard so try to get an inside room which is more secure. It has a large bomb shelter with some comfortable chairs, but it is essentially a vaulted basement/storage so quite dusty and cold. There are really good restaurants nearby so if there is an air alert you can quickly get back to the hotel shelter.
The breakfast is lovely with a choice of four options including fluffy curd pancakes with cream and jam (my personal favourite) and bacon, eggs, toast etc. they also serve lovely Ukrainian and Crimean food for lunches and dinner.
Make sure you don’t take the lift to the bomb shelter as the electricity can go off. There’s good WiFi down there.

Good hotel

I liked this hotel for staying because it is so closed to the main touristic places.(Arkadia and Derybasivska Street, Greek Park, Istanbul Park, Potemkin Stairs, Odessa National Theater and so on...)
As for touristic places, you might walk from this hotel to these places around 10 minutes. The room I stayed was somewhat good. I liked the breakfast as well as the cleanliness of the room. Both checkin and check-out process were fast and the personnel were so kind to help you.

Decent location and very clean. Otherwise nothing of note

I stayed here as part of a group tour of Kiev. Located around ten minutes’ walk from the main area on a busy street.
The check-in was swift in the small lobby adjacent to the inhouse restaurant. No lift means hiking up to the first or second floor for all rooms with your bags. The lobby has a few seats and this is the only place in the hotel other than your room.
My room was on the first floor on the front of the hotel. Very noisy all night. A fairly dark and dingy and bland, however very clean. Large bed with scratchy bedding was OK but not that comfy. Wardrobe and storage but the in room safe did not work. Fridge and glasses for use. Bathroom had a shower, vanity unit and toilet with decent towels and some shampoos and soaps plus a toilet. Again, very clean.
WIFI worked throughout the hotel, although kept clicking out so had to keep logging on.
Breakfast was poor. Very limited choice of food and one cup of tea or coffee. Most stuff felt processed. Any more than one cup of hot drink and you had to pay for it. Service pretty poor.

Good base for Odessa

Good location for hotel. Rooms had kettles and cups but no tear or coffee. Tiny safe, not really big enough to get anything in. Small breakfast selection with probably the most miserable waiting staff that I came across in Ukraine!

Clair and safe

This hotel is very good. the receptionist girl and the guy in security are very good and friendly. two friends stayed for 4 days were very pleased.hotel room good and Clair.this hotel very near in city center.
