Hotel for those who don't care about amenities
We vacationed at this hotel in February 2026. The remaining rooms had to be booked a week before the trip, so the choice was purely random. But on the whole we were satisfied.
Location:
The hotel is on a small elevation, which makes it quiet at night - there was no noise from the road. There are everything you need nearby: shops, pharmacies, massage parlours and cafes. The sea is only a 15-minute leisurely walk along the main street, along the way - cafes, shops and a night market.
Beach:
At the beach, we used to charge 200 baht sunbeds for two all day. Leaving things and coming back to use the sunbeds again. By paying, they're booked behind you all day.
Number:
Our room was on the 3rd floor (no lift). After a long walk, climbing was not very comfortable. Room is spacious, clean, cleaned daily, towels changed every day too. If necessary, water was added.
Breakfast and meals:
Breakfasts are standard in Thailand - if you want to eat really well, it's best to come early. We went to the hotel 2-3 times, the rest of the time we ate in the nearest cafe.
Amenities:
We didn't use the swimming pool, bars or other entertainment inside the hotel. The only thing that was taken advantage of was the massage with the deposit that is paid upon check-in.
Outcome:
If you need a hotel just to bathe and sleep, it's perfect. For families or couples who care about the comforts and entertainment inside - it is not quite suitable.

Ideal base for a Karon Beach Holiday
The Phulin Hotel is the perfect base for your Karon Beach Holiday whether you are a family or a solo traveller. The staff is friendly and the restaurant offers an excellent breakfast buffet and dinner options incl. room service (all reasonably priced). In addition you are not far away from shops and restaurants and the hotel offers a daily shuttle service to the beach. Walking to the beach will take you 15 mins through the local high street. For major shopping go to Patong. It is a 15/20 mins tuk tuk ride away and will cost you 400 bath one way. The swimming pool area is very nice and a good option for families with children. The rooms are modern and clean with air con and warm water.

A nice hotel for your money.
The hotel was pleasantly surprised! Nice hotel for your money!
Located on the third line, on a quiet street, to the beach 15 minutes quiet step. When settling it takes 3000 baht, dollars or euros are not taken. The hotel looks fairly fresh, renovated. The staff are pleasant, polite employees in the lobby and restaurant, always smiling.
Rooms are spacious enough. The hot water was, it ran out periodically, but quickly heated up again, so it wasn't critical. Linen and towels were changed every other day, cleaned well every day, toiletries and two bottles of water were also given every day. Pool music plays until 11 p.m.
The Wi-Fi works without reproach, watched YouTube in the room without problem.
By the way, the sheets and towels everyone writes about were divorced, but we were never charged for them, the deposit was returned without problems. We assume if nothing is broken in the room, and if we don't behave in a conflicted and appropriate manner, there will be no trouble.
Breakfasts are fairly uniform: porridge, eggs, fried and boiled, rice with vegetables, noodles, meat in the bucket, fries, cheese, ham, yogurt and sweet additives, fruit, juices, tea, coffee, croutons and buns, muffins. You won't stay hungry. We ate on the system tomorrow and dinners on the way to the hotel couldn't find information on how dinners were going. So for dinner they give a separate "comprehensive menu", according to which you can choose one course from each section, soup, hot, salad, fruit or dessert+1 soft drink for each, for example, smoothie made of mango, watermelon, pineapple or maracuilla. The dinners were delicious and hearty!
To one fat minus I charge very!!! noisy air conditioning above the bed, which did not lend itself to any mode settings, blows either cold air or as a fan. It was impossible to sleep with him, but without him you can't sleep indoors, there's nothing to breathe.

The worst hotel in Phuket in its time. Been to phuket three times.
They rested from December 18 to 29, 2024.
Anything that writes really bad reviews is true.
Linens are torn, only changed when you ask. And that's just it.
Breakfast is really the same for two weeks.
The candy really blows on the bed. Sleeping is impossible or cold or hot if you turn it off. Showers are tin if you bathe all wet around, and toilet and sink. No pressure at all. Or cold water or boiling water. Mattresses are hard. Everything hurts. There are no chairs in the room. Nowhere to eat. No chairs, no couch. No closet. All the stuff is in the suitcase all the time. The family and the child came by in advance indicated, upon arrival even linen, there were no towels for only two persons. The baby had to pay separately for the laundry.
Generally one negative from the hotel, but the choice was no package tour.
I don't advise anyone else to come back here.

Avoid this toxic place
This is a hotel from hell, I don't usually comment on hotel stays but want to warn others to prevent their holidays from being ruined like what happened to us. The stuff just want money and will try to charge you for ice and everything else. You will not get your full deposit back. No English spoken on site, if something goes wrong there's no help. You are a target by staff, there is no customer service. The shuttle bus took us to their sister hotel the wrong hotel as they didn't communicate and no signs were on the bus, this hotel refused shuttle to take us back to our hotel and made us pay for an 1 hr Taxi back which was costly even though it's their mixed up. The amenities are poor and staff is rude, nasty and horrifying service. No hot water in the room. Toilet drainage smells in the room which they tried to cover up by using extra artificial sprays, they also refuse to change rooms when there is no hot water and smelly toilets. Avoid at all costs.
