Rørosvidda Hotell is in the World Heritage Site of Røros, about 20 minutes’ drive from Hummelfjell Ski Centre. It provides free Wi-Fi and a TV lounge with fireplace. Guest rooms at Rørosvidda Hotell have either a private bathroom or shared facilities. Many include a seating area. The lobby bar is a nice place to relax and mingle. Other facilities include a terrace and a barbecue area. Staff can help arrange fishing, canoeing and other recreation. Rørosvidda Hotell is 500 metres from Røros Station. Lit cross-country ski trails are within 5 minutes’ walk, and Røros Golf Club is less than 5 minutes’ drive away. Functional, simple and close to the center

Overnight on a trip with the motorcycle club. Since the new name is Rørosvidda Hotell, the place is a bit difficult to find. The hotel is located as the previous name reveals next to the sports park.
+ Nice service and bar
+ Good sleep quality thanks to ok bed mattresses and quiet surroundings
+ Serving breakfasts as an infection control measure
+ Barely 10 minutes walk to the pedestrian street (partly on paths and bare ground, probably longer in winter)
+ Plenty of parking spaces
- Somewhat worn out premises

Small hotel now called Rorosvidda Hotell

This small hotel has now changed its name to Rorosvidda Hotell. It is handily situated about 8-10 minutes walk from central Roros. Our room was quite small with a twin bed arrangement that were almost close enough to be a double. There were two comfortable chairs and one bedside table - another on the other side of the bed would have been useful. Communal bathrooms are in the hallway - showers are stall-like as you might expect to see in a camping site.
Breakfast was OK but there was no fruit or toaster.
There is a nice communal lounge in which a large TV is also positioned.

Value for money

This is a affordable Hotel with good value for money if you are looking for a place to stay in Røros. Walking distance to city center with a number of great restaurants. The hotel is located in a quiet part of the city.

Value for money

Stayed in the appartment - spacious, cosy , very clean. Very friendly staff. Great location. A home away from home. It takes around 3 minutes to walk into city centre. Fully equipped kitchen, two bedroms.

Warm and homely atmosphere

Pleasant and helpful staff who made us feel welcome. The atmosphere was warm and homely. A little low room standard (toilet and bathroom in the hallway), but acceptable in terms of price. Breakfast was OK, but we missed wholemeal bread.
