Beautiful setting, but subservient food.

We only had dinner on a hot summer evening.
The environment was incredibly beautiful, so expectations of the food were also high.
Unfortunately, the dinner did not live up to what the place is worth.
Biffrydberg - the beef fillet was completely cooked. Grey and dull.
The steak - all the trimmings according to the menu did not come in. Had to say twice about the truffle mayonnaise. The Pomeranian was barely deep fried. Pale and soft.
A waiter did his best, but the kitchen didn't.

We were four golfing friends, who stayed at Dufweholms Herrgård hotel for one night, to play golf at Katrineholms GK. We had a wonderful stay in this historical and cultural environment.
The staff was super nice, the food and drinks were excellent, and the rooms were great ( espescially the beds were very comfortable).

They have succeeded with everything!!

After reading reviews about Service and food, that it was beneath contempt, we went there with some skepticism. Do not know what that criticism was about. The service was more than perfect. When tom she who checked us in offered to carry up our luggage.
The room and the rest of the environment was like coming home to my grandmother's cottage. They have really found every last detail to align with the environment. Taps, toilet, cutlery, etc.
The food was top notch. She served us told us at length about our three course. Whatever you do, chef, you keep! She also presented the wine in a professional way and when we also got butter and bread with the food, then you top many restaurants.
The spa is absolutely wonderful. Fresh and clean. Bathrobe and slippers were the icing on the cake.
Breakfast included what you expected.
There are little negative details, but to bring this up is just weird, definitely nothing that affected anything major.
This is a place you come back to and recommend others to go.

Nice mansion half good food

Incredibly nice mansion and area. The spa was amazing and the staff was helpful. Unfortunately, the food left a lot to be desired. The starter was a pea soup that tasted nothing. The main course was a sea bass that was quite okay, the skin was rubbery and did not add a good texture. There was no depth to any flavors. The dessert was a cream brûlée that was very good. Very boring three-course without much taste. The staff during the dinner was also very young (and talented!) but we would have liked more experienced staff there too - maybe someone who could present the wines for example.
