Pleasent stay

I had a pleasant three-day stay. The hotel was good and the room was nice, though I missed having a fridge in the room. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is lovely, with a view of the Torne River. The spa area is absolutely excellent.

Pack a face mask, rooms don’t look like they do on the website but are serviceable

It’s fine if passing through - fair price, feels a bit more caravan park with rooms attached than a ‘hotel’ more a motel with a new spa attached
Be warned - pack an eye mask the curtains are woeful and only on one side of the room! The midnight sun is real in summer

The superior rooms are very basic and do not have a minibar. The bedding is quite poor.
The breakfast is decent. However, you have to clear your own table after breakfast (which is very surprising for a 4-star hotel), and you won’t see any staff around.

Mass tourism. Big FRAM groups. The hotel welcomes only groups of French tourists FRAM. The hotel is very well located. There is nothing to do on site during the three free days on a week, except buy optional excursions offered delirious prices. The hotel and rooms are outdated, the cleaning has never been done in a week despite our multiple requests at the reception. Meals are mediocre and quantity limited. Excursions purchased in France from FRAM were not carried out. And FRAM in France won't pay us back. A stay that leaves us a bitter taste.

Dull hotel stay

My booking through Facebook did not match what was booked when we arrived. The confirmation of the booking did not match what was valid when we arrived. The spa area is not open to 14-year-olds in the company of their guardians so we did not have a spa. The room was quite okay although the cleaning was not 100%.
