Nice house but dry bread and small pillows

Beautiful surroundings and a beautiful house.
The food was very good, but you might think that with that price would be served fresh bread. Both for dinner and breakfast the bread was dry and absolutely not baked that day.
We stayed in the main house in a room with beautiful views of the lake, what pulled down the grade here were the minimal pillows. They were unfortunately the same size as decorative pillows and were thin and flabby.
It is sad when such a small, simple detail drags down the experience.

Mixed stay

If you want to spend a romantic weekend in a romantic place it is a perfect place , our room was large , very comfortable quiet with magnificent views of the lake and the forest, disappointment comes from dinner with a very small choice, ridiculously small portions, the quality of the dishes is decent without more despite the high price, two starters two courses two desserts 160€ without drinks

Cold hotel room

Worn and freezing room in one of the side buildings. Good afternoon coffee but dinner was disappointing. The room unfortunately lowered the whole experience.

Beautiful surroundings and good atmosphere

Beautiful place with beautiful surroundings, tranquility, good food, good bathing options, great cycling path to Filipstad and bicycle loans, paddleboard, ro boats and diverse. The spa options we did not try. We'll have it until next time. Very nice and welcoming service. We cost ourselves here for three days

A different Christmas experience

Several nice activities have been invested in during the Christmas holidays. Beautiful building and nice rooms, but freezing cold. The meals marketed in the world-class sales leaflet should have a fraud warning. You have to look for worse. No tastes of anything. Ignorance in the kitchen is in the light low and alarm bells ring. How to destroy a served char fillet with parsnip puree is a mystery. The Christmas dinner was sloppy laid out, Janson and omelets were floating around, the maître d' sauce was missing its gravlax, the staff thought it was for the cold smoked salmon, why the gravlax was missing. The Christmas ham was in a big pile. Always ice cold plates at meals from buffet.
Sad that a beautiful house with its nice conditions for a pleasant, warm and cozy Christmas will be dragged down by carelessness and ignorance.
