Great family hotel in a fantastic location
We had a really enjoyable stay here as a family with our 7-year-old and 4-year-old twins (+grandparents) Overall, it's a great hotel for young children with excellent facilities and a brilliant location.
The pool area, splash pool, playground and sports courts kept the kids entertained for hours every day. The animation team deserve a special mention – they were full of energy without ever being over the top. The mini disco was a real highlight for our children, and the evening entertainment was generally very good too.
I used the gym a few times. Not the biggest but everything you need for a decent holiday workout plus an extra space for stretches like a studio... Definitely lacking decent Aircon though!!
The location is excellent, with direct and easy access to a beautiful beach. The sea is shallow, warm and perfect for young children, with lifeguards on duty for extra peace of mind. 5 minutes walk to bus stop which makes it easy to explore the island. Id recommend the old town morning or evening to avoid the extreme heat.
It's also only around a 15-minute stroll into Puerto Pollensa, where there are plenty of shops, cafés, restaurants and ice cream stops. We also loved the small playgrounds dotted along the beachfront, which helped break up the walk for little legs in the evenings.
The rooms are on the small side, as many others have mentioned, particularly when travelling with children. We had a Superior Room on the 8th floor with fantastic views, although the balcony ended up doubling as storage for our suitcases and buggy! Being on the 8th floor sometimes meant waiting for the lift, but it was never a major issue. The air conditioning was adequate, although it struggled a little in the 35°C+ heat despite adjusting the wall controls. We also had a problem with the fridge not working, but to the hotel's credit it was replaced the same morning.
Kettle and tea coffee + water on arrival but you have to ask for milk replacements as and when as they are not replenished which seems a little silly!
Small Nespresso pods are not replaced after the first 4 so if you like them, take some of your own.
The all-inclusive drinks were perfectly good. San Miguel lager, local beers, wines and spirits were all included, with generous measures and served in large plastic cups during the day. The sangria was apparently excellent too! There was also a great selection of drinks for children, including fruit juices and slushies.
The only real disappointment for us was the food. I know all-inclusive buffets are never going to please everyone, but compared with other similar hotels we found it quite repetitive. The restaurant also felt busy, with regular queues for some of the food stations. There was a lot of pork served in different forms, and while the staff were always friendly and hardworking, the children's options became repetitive very quickly. Hot dogs, pizza and dry, overcooked nuggets featured heavily, while some dishes from the main buffet, such as pasta and meatballs, were a little too salty or garlicky for our children.
Breakfast, however, was excellent with plenty of choice each morning. If we returned, we'd probably book bed and breakfast and simply pay for the evening buffet once or twice, which seemed very reasonably priced.
Overall, we had a lovely holiday. The staff were welcoming, the atmosphere was friendly, and it was nice to meet families from lots of different nationalities. We'd definitely return to Puerto Pollensa in the future. We'd probably try another hotel next time, but we certainly wouldn't rule out staying here again.

Should be better
Hotel review – 3+/ 5 ⭐️
We stayed at the hotel for 9 days with my husband and our 5-year-old child. Overall, we had a nice stay, but there are a few things that I think could definitely be improved.
Hotel & rooms
The hotel itself is clean and well maintained, with no major complaints. The cleaning ladies were lovely and very friendly.
One thing I really don’t understand is why water is not provided in the rooms. We received one bottle on arrival, but after that the fridge was empty every day. I would expect basic drinking water to be included, especially with an all-inclusive package. I obviously don’t mind buying water myself, but it seems strange that I have to buy something as basic as drinking water when I am not asking for alcoholic drinks.
Sunbeds
We managed to get sunbeds every day because we went down very early, before breakfast, and went straight to the pool afterwards. However, the situation itself is quite ridiculous. There are clearly more guests than available sunbeds, which means people have to get up early and compete for them.
There is plenty of space that could be used, especially around the children’s pools. Even the grass area at the back could easily accommodate additional sunbeds so guests wouldn’t have to race each other in the morning.
Food
The food was actually one of the biggest positive surprises. Everything was fresh and the quality was very good.
My only criticism is breakfast. The hot buffet is very focused on the English breakfast, which is understandable given the number of British guests, but I travelled from the UK specifically to have a holiday abroad — I don’t really want to eat an English breakfast every morning.
There was a very good selection of fruit and fresh bread, but after 9 days the breakfasts became quite repetitive as they were basically the same every day.
Kids’ club & entertainment
The kids’ club could definitely be improved. Some of the crayons available for children were broken, which is a small thing but easily fixed. The air conditioning inside was also quite strong.
The daytime outdoor activities were okay, but the evening entertainment was rather weak.
Aquapark
The aquapark is definitely one of the hotel’s strongest points. It was fantastic and absolutely perfect for children around 5–6 years old. There is also a really nice playground next to it, which was great as an evening activity for children.
Unfortunately, one of the token-operated air-blowing arcade machines was not working properly, which made it unpleasant to play.
Location & surroundings
The location is fantastic. There is a beautiful beach nearby and the surrounding area is lovely.
We especially enjoyed the live music along the promenade, particularly in the cocktail bars. This really added to the atmosphere and made the location a big plus for us.
Drinks
Unfortunately, the drinks at the hotel were a big disappointment.
I’m sorry, but some of them were simply not drinkable. The ready-made mixes were extremely strong and far too sweet. The sangria was good, though, so that was definitely a plus.
There was also a drinks menu by the pool and I wanted to try some local Majorcan liqueurs, but only one of them was actually available.
Ice cream
The situation with the children’s ice cream was also quite disappointing.
There is a huge poster advertising different ice creams, but in reality only around five options were available — and they were charged separately, with some costing over €3 per ice cream.
For an all-inclusive hotel, I find this quite excessive. The ice creams included in the all-inclusive package were basically the very small, inexpensive ones that you can buy in the UK for around 20p each.
I completely understand that the hotel needs to make money, but guests have also paid for an all-inclusive package and should be able to choose a decent ice cream without paying extra.
The same applies to the drinks: if something is advertised as available as part of all-inclusive, it should actually be enjoyable and drinkable.
BBQ dinner
The BBQ dinner was excellent, both the meat and fish options were very good.
The only thing missing was some nice Spanish or Mexican music to create a bit of atmosphere. There was no music at all, which felt like a missed opportunity.
One staff-related issue
There was one situation that unfortunately left a very bad impression on me.
I don’t remember the name of the lady, but she had grey hair — she was tall and very slim. Please do not confuse her with the shorter blonde lady.
I witnessed her shouting at a young male waiter in Spanish in front of customers. A lady had approached the bar and apparently jumped the queue because she only wanted an ice cream. The young waiter happened to be holding ice creams while serving another customer, so he politely handed her one, assuming that was all she wanted.
She was actually waiting to place a further order, and the situation then escalated. What I found particularly unpleasant was the way the young waiter was publicly humiliated and shouted at by his colleague in front of everyone waiting in the queue.
Regardless of what happened, I don’t think staff should be spoken to or treated that way in front of guests. It left a very unpleasant impression, especially as the lady herself came across as extremely unfriendly.
The customer is not always right, and in this case, the waiter did nothing wrong. He was simply doing his job properly.
Overall
We would rate the hotel 3/5.
The hotel is clean, the food is very good, the aquapark is fantastic for children, and the location is definitely worth it.
However, the lack of drinking water in the rooms, the shortage of sunbeds, repetitive breakfasts, poor-quality drinks, the additional charge for decent ice cream despite paying for all-inclusive, and the weaker entertainment are things that prevented us from giving it a higher rating.

Some great aspects but some poor too!
I came back today from a 7 night stay with my husband and 6 year old daughter.. we wouldn't stay again due to the negative parts of my review but were some things we really enjoyed.
1 location- great location right on the beach and we had a sea view which was very nice.
2 facilities- mostly good, the pool was huge and really nice and splash area great with 5 slides and loved those. They told us the spa was hot so we didnt go in (it was boiling hot outside!?) And I felt was missing some key things like there waa no shop om site for snacks, sun cream etc, resturant was only a canteen and no outside seating to eat meal. The bufallo grill looked so basic on plastic chairs in pool area we didnt book.
3 FOOD- we found this the biggest lwt down and reason we wouldn't return. It was not 4 star food... lots of the food was cheap / poor quality and I am not fussy! Its the least variety ive seen at any hotel abroad and I love desserts and they were all.mostly jelly, mousse, all mushy and quite bland. We were very disappointed by the food. Drinks- i love a cocktail but I found these horrible! They are slushy premade really strong and sweet and I could not drink any.
Entertainment- day entertainment is great. The team were fun especially Guiseppe, chloe loved him. Lots on in day including water polo, dancing in pool etc and loved it. Evening wasnt great with tribute acts more like a karaoke act and nobody was bothered. The reptile show and acrobat show were much better.
Staff- most of the staff were pleasant but some behind the bar were not friendly.at all. They were always cleaning and clearing plates and cups which was great.
Our room was clean and quiet snd very happy.to have 3 single beds!!

Fantastic family holiday from start to finish!
We have just returned from a last minute 7 day all inclusive stay at this hotel and have had the best time.
We travelled as a family of 3 with our 3 year old son.
The location was perfect a stroll from the marina and square. With a number of little beach side parks which our little one loved, especially evening
Although all inclusive we still wanted to sample some food so headed out a couple of times. That being said we found the food within the hotel great. The buffet wasn't overwhelming but there was still ample choice and everything was always hot (wish usually isnt the case). We weren't a massive fan of the snack bar, which had things like burgers, nuggets, hotdogs and chips, pasta and some salad bits.
This wasn't a problem as we just ate lunch in the main restaurant with much more choice.
The atmosphere was 100% which made the holiday for us. The animation team were absolutely fantastic and have truly left a lasting impression on us and definitely our son. The day was started with a greeting song and got everyone updated on the plans of the day. We were made aware of what was going on but this was in no way pushy. Every one of the team made such an effort to make sure the kids and adults alike had a brilliant stay.
The hotel was also immaculate and every area of the place was tidy including the main pool, and splash park. Which were all fabulous for the kids.
The only thing I would change would be the size of the room. We stayed in a superior double. There was a large bed and a separate bed for our 3 year old. While great and comfortable this took up more or less the entirety of the room. There was a lack of storage however we utilized what space we did have and it didn't effect our holiday in anyway. If we returned we would book a larger family room, there were unfortunately non available this time round.
Before we travelled we were concerned about the previous reviews regarding air-conditioning. However the air-conditioning in our room was more than ample and we we able to amend to the desired temperature.
All in all we had an absolutely fabulous time and would 100% return. The value was great and really we had no complaints at all.

We could be very tempted to book a return visit!
Back from an amazing holiday at Pollensa Park with lots of lovely memories. From check in and throughout our stay hotel staff in all areas whilst working very hard, were always courteous and friendly. The food was really good and always beautifully presented with lots of colour and options. The outside area in particular was great and so spacious with lovely shaded areas if needed. The pool area with foam party, aqua aerobics, water balls was great fun as was the lovely splash pools with slides and inflatables. Our room though very clean was a bit basic and probably in need of an update. Our son and his family however, had lovely connecting rooms for their children with fantastic views of the sea. The location being so near the beach was lovely, as was the pleasant 15 minute walk into town. We could be very tempted to book a return visit!
