Well, the bar / restaurant was good
The position can't be faulted - the beach was lovely [apparently good for surfing too]. However, the view from inside the camp was just of caravans and mobile homes, without any interesting landscaping
The bar / restaurant 'Sea Playa' was really nice - unpretentious, good food, interesting menu including Japanese and Mexican dishes. However, not sure if it was run by the same people.
There are only a few touring plots; mostly the site consists of mobile homes and permanent caravans, presumably owned by individual families, very crowded together. There was electricity and water on the pitch but the water pressure was very high and difficult to adjust, so quite awkward to fill your kettle from without getting wet.
There was no hot water at all in the sanitaires and dishwashing areas, so it was cold showers! And boiling a kettle to wash dishes. However, there were plenty of toilets, showers and washbasins even though half of them were taped over to enable social distancing for Covid. Toilet paper was provided by a single communal roll and there was soap for handwashing, though no handdrying facilities. The toilet and shower cubicles were good-sized and clean but we couldn't see any disabled facilities. At least the toilets had proper seats on them so you didn't need to sit on cold porcelain like many sites where we have stayed. When you go for your cold shower, there is only a single hook at the back of the cubicle door so difficult to keep shoes dry.
The price of 36 euros for two persons in June seemed rather steep for camping with this level of facilities and the lack of appeal in the interior of the camp; the pricing seemed to be based purely on beach front access.
