Fabulous experience.

I was very fortunate to be able to take a cooking class with Jyoti in her lovely home. To see her kitchen with all of its beautiful spices and great produce, and watch her effortlessly pull them altogether into a delicious meal was a real privilege. Her house is beautiful and this would be a locket place to stay. She and her husband are very gracious hosts. Thank you Jyoti.

HAPPY WE

Hello...this was our 1st time to stay at a HOMESTAY .....DEVRA. We really appreciate their team & the efforts they made to make us happy by all means.....very good services, good food ( specially for our foreign friends from Germany) . This place has very positive vibes....lush green field, a good swimming pool, fresh air ,fresh grown veggies , big rooms & the neatness. THANK YOU TEAM DEVRA....FOR SURE WE WILL AGAIN VISIT WITH SOME MORE FRIENDS

Udaipur !

We went to Devra Udaipur for new year, a 4-day trip but countless memories. The place is impeccable with so many small detailing's in every nook & corner, seamless flow with nature & surroundings made me felt so nostalgic. A shout out to our hosts (Jyoti Mam & Sir) who were so kind & caring, the staff is well trained & ensured you are comfortable. The location is perfect to experience nature wilderness & yet not far from the city center. Overall, a brilliant stay, food was just perfect. Must visit is Devra Udaipur !

Amazing experience

This was a terrific experience. The owners are so courteous and so is their staff. They took care of us. Our early morning flight got canceled so we called the owner. She graciously allowed us to get back to our room. We checked out at normal time. Also, while staying there they would serve us homecooked meals. We requested traditional Rajasthani vegetarian meals and they did not disappoint! We still miss the taste of dal bhati churma.

Beautiful homestay in Udaipur

We stayed at the Devra homestay in Udaipur for 5 nights in November during our 3 week tour of India. For us it was our favourite place to stay.
Devra is Major, and his wife Jyotis, home which they share with guests. They are lovely people and we had a number of interesting conversations with them.
The villa is situated a little out of Udaipur, surrounded by hills, so is quieter and more peaceful than the usual city centre hotels. Our room was a great size with ensuite bathroom. There are a number of communal balconies, rooftop terraces and sitting rooms you can use. The Udaipur City Palace is visible from one of the terraces.
Dinner is available, you just need to let them know in the morning that you want to eat and what time and they will prepare something. We ate 3 out of 5 nights and the food was excellent.
