Very good hotel for this price

Hotal location is very close to the center, about 2-3min walk, close to Decin castle. Room was simple but clean, quiet, with a view of pond and swans in it. Breakfast was very good and tasty. Private car parking in the back yard. Reasonable price. Very good for a one or few nights, because it's close to Česke Švycarsko national park. The most visited place Pravčiska brana is only 15km, about 20min. by car.

Old and uncomfortable hotel!

We booked a two-room suite in advance for several months. As a result, we got a one-room suite with three beds on the top floor. The furniture is old, the plumbing is terrible, the bed linen is not fresh. The ceiling is leaking. Repair needed. But breakfast is good. And quietly (but we did not open the window, and the road - close).

Overall OK but with an aftertaste

We spent in Hotel Faust 5 nights. The location is good and close to the Decin Castle and the centre of the city. The rooms are big and clean, the place is quiet and pastoral. The restaurant is pretty good too with various menu at a very reasonable price. I had grilled salmon and my wife had trout and both were delicious.
Breakfast is repetitive but rather good, however there were some yogurts with expired dates and some molden cakes so do check these things out.
The major let down was on the last day. We were contacted by phone and demanded to check out immediately, even though the hotel is half empty and it didn't seem there was any pressure to ask us out. The lady in the reception complained about the noise our 3 years old daughter made in the lobby although there was nobody else there. There was no storage room to leave our luggage so we had to go straight to the train station instead of spending a few more hours in the beautiful city of Decin.

Nothing special...

The rooms are very nice at this hotel with everything you need. The people working there is helpful and even allowed my girlfriends parents to stay for free in their caravan at the parking lot.
Breakfast is poor with warm milk and cold eggs. Ants were crawling around at the table but it didn't seem to bother the waiter much.

a hidden gem

A lovely quiet hotel on a small lake with swans. Our 'room' was the cheapest-but was actually a small apartment with a sitting room and kitchenette and a gorgeous view of the lake. The hotel is just around the corner from the castle, 3 minutes from 'Fabrik', the best restaurant in Decin.....and there are many good ones, and a short walk from the Town centre. A lovely 3 days in a clean,friendly hotel.
