Hands down the best spontaneous weekend trip!

Will definitely be back!!! All the reviews so far are spot on that praise the details of our stay. From the long winding, beautiful path, to the glass of champagne offered upon our arrival. You might also be fortunate enough to get a greeting from the adorable 4 legged fur babies. Beth checked us in and gave us a tour on the first opening weekend of the season. We lucked out with unseasonably warm weather this weekend, but even with out the 80° temps this place is breathtaking. Yes the pool is is just as nice as it is in the pics. But you will not regret eating off their “pub menu”. Eric’s skills in the kitchen along with Beth’s attentive nature had us convinced to stay an extra night. This was by far the most peaceful, serene and tasty mini vacation I’ve ever had.

Canceled my reservation leaving me without any alternative options

I have an upcoming trip planned to the area in July. I made my reservation months ago to stay at the Twisp Terrace Lodge. I just got an email that the hotel was canceling my booking because they've decided to no longer honor individual reservations and instead to only do whole lodge rentals. This was very disappointing as the options for booking nearby at this point are very limited and I will have a long drive now with what is still available. I was very disappointed in how this situation was handled. I would be cautious about booking somewhere that doesn't honor its reservations.

We want to take this opportunity to thank those of you who understood our message around our unfortunate shutdown this summer. Although our challenges pale in comparison to those who lost loved ones or who are suffering from either the pandemic or the damaged economy much worse than we, it has been a true struggle to run a small husband-and-wife Lodge (with great help from our young children!) during this past year. It was simply amazing how many of you reached out to us with words of compassion and encouragement and asked what YOU could do to help US. It was a devastating decision to turn away guests this summer, and for you to respond to us with so many tremendous offers of helping hands left us without words but full of hope for this great people and nation. Thank you, thank you all, from the bottom of our hearts, and best wishes for the future!

Winter Wonderland. Don't hesitate, book it.

We had our family here at the lodge for Christmas and I can't explain to you how it exceeded our expectations. The lodge itself is truly something out of a movie; its in a wonderfully remote location, but near a local ski/tubing run if you want to get out. They have a barn on-site with horses and chickens and you frequently see deer & quail all around the property. The lodge is sitting in a valley of snow covered mountains so there is a breathtaking view anywhere you look. It was decorated for the holiday beautifully, the tree & presents in the by the fireplace were so welcoming and the exterior had beautiful outdoor igloos for a snowy winter dining experience. The English pub is stunning and and lovely place to sit and sip a wine and read and the saloon downstairs was the perfect place for the family to gather. The family was always down there, playing pool by the fireplace, watching movies in the theater with recliners and popcorn machine or just dancing around to Christmas music. I also can not stress how relaxing it is to have a soak in the hot tub, during snow fall, and then warm back up in the sauna and enjoy the night with the one you love by your personal fireplace in your room, it was beyond anything I could have imagined.
However Beth & Eric were the true stars; they made sure everything was perfect throughout the entire trip. Amazing morning pastries & coffee delivered to our door each day, fire always crackling around meal time gatherings and personalizing the entire weeks menu for my family (some much picker than others). I don't think there was a single meal I ate the entire time I was there, that wasn't amazing. I can't say enough about the entire trip. Beth was an amazing host, from the very beginning she worked with me to plan the food and beverage menu, reccomending things to do before arrival and during our trip, she was always making sure we were happy, anticipating our needs and overall being so welcoming. By the end of the trip we felt like we had gained a few new members of the family, and I don't mean their two awesome dogs - although they were up there on my list too!
On our second to last day we also had a small wedding ceremony (elopement). They rearranged the lodge furniture to accommodate a beautiful location for us to hold the ceremony. Gorgeous windows & lighting with a snowy mountainous backdrop. They moved around meals to accommodate our timing & photography, and made sure the day was special & stress free.
I can't say enough amazing things, and it may not be worth trying, it's something you'll have to experience for yourself. I have memories of the lodge and a wonderful Christmas with my family that I will cherish always.

Perfect setting, service and experience!!

We can't say enough about how perfect our stay at Twisp Terrace Lodge was! Eric and Beth are outstanding hosts. The food is AMAZING. Our family had planned a trip to Maui for my parent's 50th anniversary. Because of COVID our family ended up at Twisp Terrace Lodge...turns out this was our favorite family vacation we have ever had together. We would choose this location again...every detail from the early morning pastries and coffee delivered to our rooms to the poolside drinks was perfect. We were able to borrow tubes from the lodge to take to the Methow river for several fun float trips. We sat by the pool, ate world class food (much of it locally sourced), drank wine by the gorgeous view at night...and loved every minute. Will be back. Our whole family was thrilled with the lodge and the hospitality. 10 stars. Thank you so much!

Beautiful lodge, beautiful setting

A truly beautiful property that reflects a huge amount of attention and care (and work) by Beth and Eric. We really appreciated all of the thoughtful, small touches throughout and very much enjoyed our stay here. Make sure to reserve dinner ahead of time if you want to eat here (other options are a little far), and save room for a delicious breakfast.
