Beautiful Setting and Great Communal Spaces, But Tight on Room Size

AutoCamp in Sequoia is a beautiful property with real character, and we enjoyed our stay. The location is lovely, and the community areas are really well done. It's the kind of place that encourages you to settle in and enjoy the outdoors and the company of other guests.
The breakfast was great, and the complimentary happy hour with wine was a nice touch that added to the relaxed, convivial vibe of the whole property.
The honest caveat is that the rooms are quite tight. Our two kids had to share a bed that was essentially the size of a futon, which worked for them at the time but wouldn't work at all now that they're getting older. If you're traveling with older kids or teenagers, you'll want to think carefully about the room configuration before booking. For a couple or a family with very young children, it's fine. But as kids grow, the space becomes a real constraint.
That said, the setting, the food, and the communal atmosphere are all genuinely lovely. For the right traveler, AutoCamp is a great spot. Just be realistic about room size going in.

The Airstream was very clean inside, could have been cleaner on the outside.
We only had one night here but enjoyed it.

Excellent stay/location. Loved the location, the pool, the fireplace. The clubhouse was very comfortable. Nice that they had water/hot water/coffee available at all times. Prices for food of the restaurant were very reasonable. Staff were all kind, polite, helpful.

Best of both worlds. Camping with a comfy bed, private bathroom and white linens. The staff was absolutely amazing. Everyone from the front desk staff, to the maintenance guy, and the housekeeping staff were so helpful and friendly. I am already planning my next trip.

Family and friends Glamping!

Took a group trip with 2 other families and had a great time. The location was by the river so we were able to fish and swim anytime we wanted. Pool area was also nice to relax and grab food and drinks. Small property overall but cars aren’t allowed in so kids could run around and bike safely. Lots of bikes of various sizes for rent.
