Historic Charm

I was looking for a somewhat unique stay and found it at the Drift Inn. Peaceful and relaxing, the Beymer Suite met all our needs with a small kitchenette to include coffee maker , a comfortable sitting area, and a “just the right firmness” king bed. Hungry? We had the perfect meal at Henry’s - I highly recommend the salmon Caesar and finger steaks - delicious! Great staff and friendly people! Will definitely stay there again!

Terrible absolutely terrible

I had taken my 93 year old Mom to eat for dinner. We arrived at 7pm . It’s 8:50 pm we just got our dinner. Moms steak is purely raw .i had to give her some of my food and neither of us ate even hungry now .
The comp the drinks my dinner and charged us for the steak dinner. Very hurtful for my Moms sake.

Charming, Clean, Friendly

We stayed in the Frazier Room. The room and Henry’s at Drift Inn Dining where we had dinner were beautifully renovated. The staff was super friendly. Loved the historic references. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had a great view of the Historic Wilson Theater.

Awesome experience at The Drift Inn in Rupert

We had an awesome experience at The Drift Inn in Rupert. This historic hotel is beautiful and unique. Our room was charming, spacious, immaculate and quiet. We had an excellent night's sleep. There was a delightful lounge with games and books. I highly recommend this special hotel.

The best place to stay in Rupert, Idaho

We stayed two nights in February 2022 to meet new family before a wedding.
The Drift Inn is fantastic. It’s like stepping back in time 50 years but with modern amenities added. I loved the age and character of the building with creaky floorboards and the original features retained. The rooms are large, very clean and very well appointed. We stayed in the Snyder Suite which has views out over the charming town square. We enjoyed a separate bedroom with a very comfortable king size bed, a lounge area with sofa and chairs with a small kitchen with microwave, hob, dishwasher and coffee maker. The bathroom had a twin sink vanity area with ample lighting and an adjoining Bath/shower and WC.
We had a marvellous family meal in the restaurant named, “Henry’s” which again is a time warp with real charm and character. Our server was a very gracious and efficient host and the food was excellent for all ages and tastes.
As we now have family in the area we are looking forward to returning and will definitely stay at the Drift Inn again.
