Beautiful Beaufort by the Sea
My husband planned the perfect anniversary weekend - taking me back to where we lived for the first two years of our married lives in Beaufort County, South Carolina. He surprised me with a stay at the lovely Cuthbert House Bed & Breakfast. The Cuthbert exceeded our expectations by adding little touches - like an in-room Nespresso machine and nightly chocolates with turndown service and recommendations for nearby restaurants and attractions. Their breakfasts and social hours were awesome; they even accommodated my dietary restrictions. To top it off, we were able to borrow beach chairs, towels and the pass to Hunting Island State Park. Wow - just wow! We will definitely be back!

First Class in every way!
The quality of the overall experience at the Cuthbert House was exceptional! One of the first things noted, was the attention to details—with everything! My wife and I are vegan/vegeterian. No problem. The CH team accommodated with ease our dietary needs. There was a problem in our room with the AC. The responsiveness by Rob was a master class in customer service and customer care. He was not just empathic, but made arrangements to transfer us to a different room, as well as other adjustments without our having to request them, much less demand them. In a word: first class experience in every way. Will we go back? An unqualified, yes! Oh yes, just the view over the water from the large, expansive porch, is reason to go back alone.

The Cuthbert House
This was one of the most beautifully appointed inns I have stayed at. I loved how they preserved the history while bringing in the comforts and luxuries of today. Karen and Jenn were as warm and helpful as could be. The inn was beautiful inside and out, cleanliness was exceptional, and the social hour and breakfast were excellent.

Southern Charm!
Amazing! A southern charm right on the water front. Great location in Beaufort, SC. Chris and Suzanne, the owner's, were present and such a delightful couple to share stories of past and present adventures! They have gone all in with their renovations, traditional decor, and hospitality! The staff was phenomenal, down to earth and willing to do whatever it took to make us comfortable. We shared great conversations of where we were from and our journeys through life. The breakfast and social hour eats were top shelf! Chef Megan, ensured our food was prepared according to our health concerns...something you won't find while staying in most hotels. Our room was beautiful and very clean. The shower was large and comforting. The bed was comfortable. I'm a senior with back issues and I prefer a firm mattress. The bed did not feel that firm but was very comfortable and provided a good nights rest. Thank you Megan, Wendy (your restaurant choices were awesome!), Robert, Karen, Mayra, and Liz for your charming personalities and hospitality! We will see you again!

Three day getaway
Entire experience was superb. Staff booked us two tours, which were exceptional. Highly recommend Cuthbert House
