Hiking and Eating

We were there with Road Scholar for hiking. The hosts at the Inn, Cary and Eamon, were fantastic, so friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very comfortable with what seemed like new bathrooms. Great pool and game room. The food was super. There's a free shuttle bus that runs from Mt. Snow to the nice towns. The hiking was great and so were the leaders Anna and Tim who led them. Just a five star week all the way around.

A gem in Southern Vermont

Had a fabulous week at Gray Ghost Inn! My room was spotless and very comfortable, and the breakfasts were great. So many places to hang out and read, make a puzzle, or chat with friends. Lots of great hiking nearby, as well as shops and restaurants. Cary and Eamon were friendly, super welcoming and very helpful. I'll definitely be back!!

Home away from home

I stayed at The Grey Ghost Inn for the first time this week, and let me tell you this place is great! It has a home away from home feel to it and Cary and Eamon Duane (the owners) go out of their way to make you feel at home. It’s a great location, five minutes from Mount Snow and close to great restaurants. Every morning you’re treated to a made to order breakfast to start your day.
I really can’t say enough nice things about The Grey Ghost Inn you’ve gotta experience it for yourself! Check’em out and enjoy your stay! I know I did!

It felt like home

We stayed a week as part of a Road Scholar Hiking trip. I cannot say enough about the food. The food is plated and made to order. You can have as little or as much as you like. Eggs, made to order, pancakes, French toast, bacon, juice, need I go on. There were cozy little areas around the property to sit and chat or be by yourself and enjoy nature. The game room had a variety of activities. Ping pong, air hockey, and foosball. Our room was clean and quiet. The owners were very accommodating. We were given a tour on our arrival. We left a book in a drawer. The owner sent it to us that day. If ever In the area again, this is where I will stay. It felt like home.

Quintessential Vermont Inn

I had a great stay at this inn with a hiking group. The owners and staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and wants with delidious meals, good attention to the rooms and all around great hospitality. Would recommend to anyone looking for rustic Vermont charm in a beautiful setting.
