perfect for family vacation

This place is just perfect for family vacation, nature is beautiful, there is lots of opportunities for sports or walks. It is old rural mansion converted to penzion, really clean and quiet, with everything at hand. The best thing is private courtyard - safe space for kids with pleasant microclima, place to chill no matter the weather. It is easily accesed by car, there is enought parking space, but even access via public transport is an option. Staff keeps the place running really smooth, the overall impresion is homelike.

Magical atmosphere

It is a good location close to summer and winter activities in Šumava, a friendly and helpful host, and a beautiful historical environment. It is a good choice if you want to go skiing in the nearby Austrian resorts. Everything was o.k. include breakfast.

Perfect choice

If you want to stay well and for reasonable money in this region, this accommodation is a great choice. From cleanliness, through stylish equipment, great staff, breakfast included... in short, everything as it should be, including trust in your guests. We will definitely be back sometime!!

Great place

Great place, you cant make mistake if wou choose them. Old style remodeled house. Tasty homemade kitchen. Good possition for trips, croscountry skiing - when is snow. Close for downhill skiing. Definitely can recomend

Guesthouse for bicyclists

This guesthouse is in a faithfully restored historic building in Bela, not far from the Nova Pec train station in Sumava National Park. You can get a simple room with a mini-kitchen, but it is highly recommended to reserve dinner in the charming barn beautifully converted to dining hall. Good food, good beer, great atmosphere. You can rent bicycles at the guesthouse for a very reasonable price, or bring your own. You'll want a hybrid or mountain bike to properly explore some of the many (!) trails available to you, from flat to hilly routes through the forest, along the upper Vltava, to lakes and wetlands and hidden cultural sites. Make sure to bring the right cycling maps, available in the Cesky Krumlov TI office. (Don't count on the TI being open in Nova Pec, unless it's summer.) Check out the routes that include a ferry crossing of Lake Lipno, and/or that start at one train station and end at another! It is very inexpensive to take the little train from Cesky Krumlov to Nova Pec, with or without a bicycle.
