A welcome haven

We were part of the human wave traveling across America to catch the perfect viewing spot for the eclipse.
Long miles, many hours, a previous disappointing hotel stay made this quiet, clean, old school motel a refuge.
Front desk was superb....room was good...but not much else goes on in Dresden. Bring your own entertainment.
We were thankful for a room and quite pleased that this one did not triple the price like the others were doing. Good people.

TRAVEL ON DON’T STOP

The bed was great. There was no bugs, but there was cobwebs everywhere and the floor was absolutely filthy. You could not walk on it without your shoes service pet. They would not recognize him as being a Service pet wouldn’t even look at the papers or his certificate said they did not honor those so we still wound up paying for him so if we hadn’t been so tired and needed to rest right then my husband being the diabetic and he was sick. We need some more rest. We would’ve traveled down and that’s what I advise you do is travel down the road.

Clean, quite room

This property is under new owners, they have cleaned, painted, new carpet, and has a better bed than what I use at home. It was quite. It's not your 5 star motel, but to get a good nights rest it's spot on. There is a McDonalds up the street if you want a quick breakfast, and there's a subway. But it's only 9 miles from Martin if you want a sit down restaurant. Very reasonable price. Will definitely stay here again when back in the area.

A quick trip to UTM

Don't let the outside appearance scare you away. This is a road side motel of the past. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. We will return. Room had refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker.

Great Stay!

Liked it here! I prefer motels where you drive right up to your door and this was one of those places!
Danny was warm and welcoming and provided assurance accommodations would meet my approval. And they did.
My room was spacious, clean, fresh-smelling, and had a fridge and microwave. The air conditioning was aggressive, perfect for the sultry day it was, and internet access speedy.
The bed and room were so comfortable I slept well beyond my normal wake time!
I'd certainly stay here again! Thanks Danny...
